Volunteers are needed year round.  We are always looking for volunteers for Outburst UK. We need people to work in a variety of different departments including pre-festival set up, helping with vendors, manning the information booth, staff catering, assistance with sponsor stalls, and much much more. The key here is flexibility. We will need folks ready, willing, and able to go anywhere on the grounds to lend a hand and who are excited to be a part of a major team effort.

Whatever your skills or availability, Outburst UK is eager to hear from you. Volunteers are needed both in the every day running of the organisation and the run up to the festival event.

There are plenty of opportunities to utilise your skills and get involved. Whether you wish to work behind the scenes or not, you’re guaranteed to have a fun-filled and action-packed experience:

What are the requirements of volunteers?

  1. All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, no exceptions.
  2. Each Volunteer will need to sign the Outburst UK Code of Conduct.
  3. All Volunteers will undertake training

What type of jobs/departments could I be working in?

There are a variety of different departments including administrative, fundraising, assisting at events and the festival, manning the information booth, handing out flyers, assisting sponsors in the running of their stalls at the festival, staff catering, VIP areas set up and maintenance, assisting with various access programs (just to name a few)…

Essentially volunteers are on hand to help out when and where they are needed. You may end up getting pulled from one area and shifted to another, based on changing needs. The key is to be flexible and willing to lend a hand.
